BRICK RESERVOIR RECREATIONAL AMENITIES
What
began more than a decade ago as an unused sand and gravel pit, has
evolved into the largest construction project in the history of
Brick Township. It is also the site of a one billion gallon
water storage reservoir that will ensure an uninterrupted supply of
water to our customers for generations to come.
Complimenting the functional use of the Brick Reservoir will be the
passive recreational opportunities it brings to the residents of our
area. Once complete, the 120 acre site will offer
aesthetically pleasing theme gardens with indigenous plantings, two
fishing stations lined with brick pavers, four gazebos, numerous
benches to relax and enjoy the facility, and a walking/jogging
path. The entire area will be lit with multiple lighting
fixtures.
The BTMUA is offering the public the chance to sponsor several
recreational aspects of the Brick Reservoir. Sponsorship of
the brick pavers, park benches and/or lighting fixtures offers a
meaningful way to contribute to this important project, while
leaving a lasting memory of your support for decades to come.
Samples
of brick pavers, park bench, and lighting fixture are on display at
the Authority offices, 1551 Highway 88 West, Brick, New

 Brick Pavers

These various size brick pavers will be installed in the
fishing stations. By sponsoring a brick paver, you can
have your name, message, or other inscription imprinted on the
paver for all to see. You may also leave it blank if you
wish your sponsorship to remain anonymous.
