Water Quality
and Treatment
Since
1975 the authority has operated and maintained a water quality testing
laboratory that is certified by the State Department of Environmental
Protection. While state and federal regulations call for 90 tests, the
authority's technicians' routinely perform some 130 tests. Testing
tells authority personnel what adjustments, if any, are needed in the
treatment process so consistently safe and high-quality water is delivered
to our residents.
